International Students Route to Permanent Residence

International Students Route to Permanent Residence

To begin, the pathway to obtaining a student permit in Canada has been divided into four (4) steps to ensure clarity and transparency for an applicant to monitor their application as it progresses through the process

1. Choosing a Program

When consulting with your Latent immigration/educational counselor, you will explore the different academic programs available to accommodate your interests and career goals. Your counselor will consider the length, cost, location, and course schedule when deciding on which programs to recommend.

2. Applying to School

Once both you and your educational counselor decide on the best level of study and educational program, Latent Immigration will help you prepare and submit your application. We will be working hard to ensure your application receives a positive outcome as quickly as possible. You will need to receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA), from a Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI) before you can apply for a study permit.

3. Applying for a Study Permit

When your acceptance letter is in your possession, you will be ready to apply to Canada’s immigration for your study permit. If you want to attend a school in Quebec, you will also obtain a certificat d’acceptation du Quebec (CAQ) before you can apply for your study permit. Our Immigration experts will assist you to prepare and submit your immigration application. If you are married, your spouse may be eligible to apply for an open work permit as well.
